So I will buy the iPhone 15 Pro Max (upgrading from the Xs Max).

And I want to buy external storage to capture video projects on. But what kind of storage do I need for this? A normal usb-c-stick won't cut it right?

I need something with a high writing speed? Are there iPhone certified storages? Or what can I use best?

Try one of the Samsung T5/T7 range, I’ve got several that I use with my iPad’s that I store 4k footage from my drone on (among other things). Think I’ve got a 500Gb and a couple of 1Tb T5’s and, being credit card sized they are extremely portable.

Hope this helps

Exactly, get T5/T7. Avoid Sandisk. Not yet sure how I manage to make it work with my gimbal setup yet. I guess it’ll be a bit mess.

I think someone will come out with a drive that will attach via magsafe soon. A Samsung T7 attached with velcro on the back would work well.
