The first version of OS X I used was Panther that shipped on my PowerBook, but i grew up using System 7 and OS 8.

Well tiger for me i wanted to use mac but my parents always thought pc was better until tiger i said fine buy me one and i will prove mac osx is better and well to this day me and my dad use mac osx Leopard 😀

I have used the developer version. I also still have my Public Beta CDs in thier folder. I cant recall if the public beta did, but I know my developer copy looked just like OS 9. There was no Aqua interface yet.

I should install them just for fun 😀

Beta version. Still have it!

They called "new, super-modern". 🙂

Hmm it seems that I have every release since the Beta..

I used 10.2 first since it came on my eMac which was my first Mac. then after a few months, I realized that there had benn a few updates since 10.2 and I upgraded to Tiger.

10.4 Tiger. 😱

Yeah, I'm a Johnny-come-lately.

I USED 10.3, once or twice, but not lot. 10.4 I was the first one I really used, because I didn't really use OS X on a regular basis until I bought one and it was a Macbook so it came with 10.4. I've upgraded to 10.5 now and Loving it 🙂

The first version of OS X that I used was Jaguar. It was only for a couple minutes so I don't really count it. But before I got my PowerBook (which was my first new Mac) I used a Bondi Blue iMac on a pretty regular basis with 10.3 on it so I guess Panther was the first version I used on a regular basis.

Nice! I wonder how much you could sell that for?

Hmmm...

I used 10.0 and 10.1 and they SUCKED. I liked the possibilities, but...damn.

Jaguar and Panther were HUUUUUGE upgrades. Huge.

10.1 -- I got it because iPhoto required it. IPhoto was the killer app that caused me to move over to mac OS X.

The first time I USED OS X for any extended period of time was 10.1 on a MDD G4 at my Dad's office for a summer.

My first Mac was purchased a couple years later, towards the tail end of 10.2 (I believe it shipped with 10.2.8 or so?). That's the PowerBook I'm still using today.

10.2, but it came on an old PowerMac G3 (B&W) that I bought from a friend, at the time tiger had already been out for a while.
So I have never used 10.3, because I upgraded straight to tiger. I did however use 10.1 because it came with the G3 when I got it. But I just played with it along with OS 9.

Tried 10.0 for about a week. Hated it (been using Macs since OS 7.5) carried on with OS 9. Came back with the release of 10.2.
I still use OS 9 and 8 every now and again.

I remember first seeing (I believe) 10.1/10.2 on an eMac. Boy was I stunned.

Having used OS 9 and below my whole life, I had never seen anything like it. Now it's normal.

The wow factor back then was incredible, I'm surprised my Dad bought a PC. It's been craptastic for him ever since.

First that I have actually used, well that was pre- 10.0, first that I have owned would be 10.5 Leopard which is what I voted for.
