I think it was the original Front Row from Tiger.

I'll take a look at my version of it, then. It might still be there. I thought it was some form of Expose or something.

EDIT: No, it's not there anymore. It's been changed to more of a list menu style. Is that what it was?

Yes, Front Row was at first a spinny thing as in the picture. It was like this on Tiger (10.4). When Leopard (10.5) came out it was changed to the current bar style, similar to Apple TV OS version 1. It is still the same on Snow Leopard (10.6) as it was on Leopard. And there is no way to get the Tiger version on Snow/ Leopard without it crashing a lot.
