I rid myself of mild acne and now my self-esteem couldn't be any higher.

Got 95% on my science unit test, found out I'm a nice girls best friend, and sold all my imported chocolate bars in less than a week.
(Yes, 13 year old boys don't accomplish much)

In chronological order...

Got a job in the field that I was trying to get into, connected to the country I wanted to work with (Russia). Got a bigger apartment. Traveled to Russia on your tax dollars (again!). Got my wife pregnant (intentional--planned--extremely excited). Saved money and saved for retirement. Got back into an old hobby that I love (photography--put together a couple old albums; have been taking tons of pictures and am starting to actually like some of them!).

Those are the big things, I think. Man. This thread makes me feel much better than I did a few minutes ago. Thanks!

Quit the job I thought I would have for quite some time, due to realizing while I could do it, didn't mean I should do it.

Went into business with my father.

Passed the following financial tests:
Series 7
Series 66
Series 31
Life Insurance Producer
Health Insurance Producer

Congrats to those who accomplished great things in 2006, and may we all enjoy 2007.

Got laid off :( , paid off the car :) , and cashed in on unemployment benefits for the first time in my life! :D All in the month of December.
After over a decade in the same workplace, I'm actually considering trying something new, with my wife's encouragement!

Last, but not least, my first fortune cookie after the lay off read:
"There is no security on this earth, there is only opportunity."

Overall is's been a banner year!
