There's no serial number on the back of my iphone, just a model number, FCC ID and an IC ID.

I think this was the case with previous iphones too - I don't think the UK iphone has the SN on it for some reason.

921 , Boston shipped directly from china . The screen is warmer than my friends 3G but not The yellow that I have been seeing, an dconsidering it was designed to be warmer I'm not complaining. I have noticed though that depending on the angle u r holding ur phone at it gets more or less yellow. It may have something to do with the new coating

You mean the screen, yes?
I have a 923 and I have no yellowing issues. In fact, it's a 'perfect' white - not blue, red or yellow tinted.

I am 922 too. Happy so far, except that white screen of death this morning. It was fixed with a hard reboot (wake + home key for 10 sec)
