Production week - 32
Factory: Chengdu (Foxconn)

16GB - Black
Ordered from the Apple site, but mine was shipped from Nashville, not China.

Seems as though the week the Iphone5 was manufactured is not directly related to the scuffing issue. Their might be some other common factor like the assembly line it was manufactured at etc.

Production week: 37 (September)
Factory: F2

32GB / White / Verizon - bought launch day at Apple Retail Store.

Interestingly, the one I pre-ordered on 9/14 was produced in week 37, or literally the week before it shipped. The one I bought in the store yesterday was produced in week 33. Both were white AT&T 32GB models, and neither had any scuffing or other obvious defects.

Week 38 last week, F2 Plant

Received it today

Mine has the light bleed issue at top edge of screen really noticeable on boot up screen.

Mine is Week 31. 32GB white. Bough yesterday!

In my serial # details it says:

Serial number: DNP********* (cleaned up from 'dnp*********')

*Both serial #s are the same except one in caps and one in small case.

What does "cleaned up means"? I hope it is not refurb-new?

Can someone please confirm?
