Now that the two new iPhones have been out for a while now, it's obvious many people didn't quite get what they were expecting. With 2015 on it's way, post what you'll need the next iPhone(s) to include before you buy one.

what didn't people get that they were expecting? this launch seemed to me it was one of the more predictable launches. i'm happy with my phone purchase this year, and i'm sure i'll be happy with whatever upgrades apple brings next year.

I don't think I'll be interested in the 6S. If they skip the 6S and introduce the iPhone 7 instead then I'm all in to upgrade.

seemed to me

Key word here.

Many people actually wanted a smaller size iPhone this year, while I admit going bigger was better in my opinion, Apple has normally always been a company that offers multiple choices in order to satisfy the consumer.

Another thing was the fact that we still remain with 1GB of RAM in 2014, Apple this for whatever reason and now users need to suffer with boot loops, crashes, and tab refreshes when they didn't need to before.

And Apple is just now restocking the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Pluses. This year had to be the worst Apple launch in history for meeting customer demands. Companies need to predict the sales months in advance in order to mass produce them for appropriate demand.

Cheaper pricing and apple do not belong in the same category.

Apple will improve camera, CPU, and storage. They will call it iPhone 6S and 6S plus.

There you go.

You clearly live in a different world than I do, perhaps an alternate universe

I selected RAM, but it's going to boil down to performance. Will I get a smooth UI? Will I get fewer (much) reloads in Safari?

I am on Next and will plan to just hop on Next again, test drive the new device, and either pay off the remainder of my current 6 plus and keep it, or sell it and keep the 2015 model, assuming it outperforms in those key areas.

No factor needed. Yearly upgrader here.

Add it to the poll!! There are many in that category.

Also add "not upgrading next year"

I upgrade every year as I like to treat myself once a year with a tech gift. I sell my previous and recoup 80 to 85% of original retail price paid. So it's a no brainer for me ....
Everyone is differnt and electronics is what I like to treat myself too.

My current phone to stop functioning?.... No need to spend money unnecessarily.

There really should be a rule or training or something before anyone can post a poll.

This is right up there in the top 10 bad polls.

I am looking for: 2GB RAM and A9 14nm, a 440 p.p.i. screen display in the 4.7" model! I hope Apple will cover up the antenna bands again. Otherwise, I will wait for the 7 to come out in 2016!

Wife wants my 6Plus so thats a deal. But the S will be identical, with the usual incremental performance updates. The 7 I expect will offer a reduced bezel, although that will have an effect on battery life. Id like a thin, rectangular home button, or a smaller home button and rectangular touch area left and right, for gestures or what you configure to it. Wireless charging, no thanks. Slow and you still have to plug something in.

Apple has sold nearly 70 million iPhone 6 models in 3 months, what other company could push out that many units?

so yeah, definitely the worst Apple launch in history.

The telco I work for had MANY MANY pre orders for the iPhone 6/Plus. The Note 4 had 40. Low sales makes for an easy launch. High sales don't, especially when the ratio of 6 and the Plus had to be guesstimated.
