What will be the deciding factor for you to buy the 2015 iPhone(s)?

After having the 4s and 5s, I have come to the conclusion that I prefer the # version of iPhone and not #s. Why? Because in my opinion, the # iPhone stays relevant longer than the #s version.

This makes sense in my head, and probably nobody else. :p

Contract will need to end, which will be March 2016.

It makes sense to me. You get jealous in half the time when you buy a 5s in 2013 and the 6 launches a year later. Meanwhile, people who bought an iPhone 5 in 2012 see the 5s launch and think "I'm not missing out on much".

None of the above. I won't be upgrading next year unless Apple incorporates some new "gotta have it" feature, and none of the ones listed in this poll qualify. In fact, I can't think of any feature Apple may include in the 'S' version that would make me jump off my usual 2-year upgrade cycle, unless maybe it was something like a truly excellent, whiz-bang camera which blew the current one out of the water and made all other cameras obsolete by comparison.

Definitely be getting the 6s next year, when contract expires. Only conundrum is the phone size. 6+ simply looks too large and unwieldy, but I am tempted by the larger display. :(

Base (bigger size) and Plus (smaller size) weren't an option. Otherwise I would have picked one of those.

For me, the 6 is a little too small, and the Plus is a little too big. I'd love a 5" 6 that slimmed down the bezels, or a Plus that remained at 5.5" and shaved down the bezels. Right now I've gone with the Plus for battery life, and the other handful of advantages. I'm adjusting to the size, but it's still a little tall for my taste because of the really big forehead and chin on it.

I voted for 2GB of RAM though, as this is important to me. I'll only upgrade next year if it's financially feasible to do so (depending on resale value of the 64GB Plus next year).

I upgrade yearly so no deciding factor needed.

Same here. Used to be every 2 years but I started upgrading every year since the iPhone 5.

iPhone 5 -> iPhone 5s (64bit, Gold option, TouchID and the camera were the factors I upgraded) -> iPhone (4.7" display, new design, overall faster performance with the A8).

I might get it having an upgrade lying around, but not going to settle for an inferior yellowed screen after lucking out the first time on my 6+

also have seen in person 6+ yellow screen, the difference is instantly noticeable to my eyes, and lack of contrast-- text simply isn't wow like on my current one.

I'm OCD, but it is what it is.

I usually want to wait until JB, and with all these random iOS 8 bugs I've experienced when I had the 6, now 6+ and rMini I upgraded foolishly from 7.1.2 to, I feel like I want to wait until software is more mature and solidified. Getting really tired of being a public beta tester for top dollar.

With JB I make it my own, but i really don't know how stock apple fans do it. It seems they test one's patience more and more with lack of QC software and hardware wise.

Now that I have a 5.5" screen not just one that is taller, I feel like regardless of which route I go, I'll be fine
