The first complaint will absolutely be 5G speeds, or lack of. And they'll claim it's Apple who lied to them.

So true - many won't see 5G speeds in most areas especially dependent on the carrier's infrastructure: low band, mid band and mmWave frequency towers....

People love to start a “gate” so my guess is scratchgate. Reason being, I think a lot of people will equate the “4x stronger ceramic glass” as being scratch proof. Despite knowing damn well there is still the oleophobic layer that’ll scratch in the right situations without a screen protector.

Poor battery life on the 12 mini. Micro scratches on the new "ceramic" screen. New design uncomfortable to hold for long periods of time, especially on the 12 pro max. PMW complaints. Complaints about-face ID burning and blinding their eyes. Wouldn't surprise me if there's a bend gate on the aluminium 12s with how thin the phones are. Can't wait for Jerry this year tbh.

Either my phone is scratched/scuffed/nicked out of the box or the classic, “it rattles”. Close third, yellow screen.

Every year we get the same complaints when some customers get their new phones. Will it be the phone rattles when you shake it? Will it be the screen is too yellow? What do you think? They always make me laugh, especially those that do multiple returns.
What a great idea for a post.

Of course the screen complaints

Power/volume button loose

Phone rattles

Camera taking “bad” pictures

Phone came damaged

Joke answer......That nobody notices they have the new version....

Serious answer.....5G window, scratches, or issues with OLED.

Semi-serious answer.... that there isn’t anything to complain about.

very serious answer......Their phone doesn’t receive 5G at the tesla supercharger station halfway between LA and Vegas.

Not really a new design is it. Plus it probably will hurt your hand after a while.

yeah, I know that Apple used this design on the 4-5s, but it’ll still be a complaint: it’s a complaint every year from a number of people regardless of the style, shape, weight. Plus, it won’t hurt my hand.

I guarantee there will be a massive thread discussing the yellow tint of the OLED Screen. I lurked around here when the 11 Pro was released and people were convinced that different serial numbers had different screen quality. I never saw it but there were people that swore by it.

I’m sure the people at Apple are well aware of any potential “gate” nonsense.

That’s why they changed the power-up Apple logo screen on iPads from black with a white Apple logo, to white with a black Apple logo. Why would they do that? Because that black screen just enticed the pixel-peepers to find light bleeding.
