What will happy if the nonsuitable RAM was put into iMac?

    Will the iMac be harmful due to the nonsuitable RAM?

    In most cases your system will not boot up. You will get a beeping sound when you try to restart.

    Ram needs to be an so-dimm so its the right size to fit in the slot. Needs to be 667mhz, CL5 rated.
