Greatgate (In reference to Tim Cooks comment about pre-order sales of the Apple Watch)

I'd go with Scratchgate, which I invented, or probably co-invented in this thread:

https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1866003/

I think many younger people who are buying the SS Apple Watch have never owned or worn a regular watch, and would be surprised at how easily stainless steel can be scratched. Since putting a case or a skin on a watch is a goofy idea, many younger Apple Watch owners would be upset that their precious expensive hi-tech watch are not scratch proof.

I can see it coming from a mile away.

But luckily smooth finish stainless steel can be easily polished. I see a lot of third party Apple Watch SS polishing kits being sold.

That would be interesting to see how Apple handles it, even if its not a wide spread issue. If the band comes loose and the watch falls and is damaged, who is responsible? Is it Apple because the bad didn't do what it was supposed to do, or is it the customer because they might not have attached the band properly or must have been using it in a way it wasn't designed to be used (hard to make that case since its a sports watch)?

I'm more interested in how they will handle cats and dogs living together.

there's going to be something right?

From the existing threads already created by our own community no less, I'm going with....

SCRATCHGATE!!

My first watch had Scratchgate including my second watch and every other watch that I have worn since decades ago. My SS Apple Watch will scratch as well but it's a non issue in advance
