They'll probably keep the iPhone 4 or iPhone 3GS on sale and so the fifth-generation iPhone being called the iPhone classic makes no sense. I know you said not serious but you added the poll. Just talking here.

Personally, I haven't really looked forward into getting another iPhone. Technology always improve. Same cycle. Been there, done that. And looking at the iPhone 5 case, you might as well call it the iPad mini (aka iBrick).

Don't get me wrong. I prefer they do go bigger with the screen. But not that big. Perhaps next year they go for a smaller one at 4-inches unless the 4S (lower budget model) has it. It is about time Apple expands its carrier availability and introduce different iPhones like they did with the iPod to broaden the demographic and give it versatile price-points. A second model in a different size and form factor would be nice.

I personally believe that the shipped software version matches the iPhone name.

Am I the only one who can't see the issue with speculation on a rumours site? Repetition is perhaps a valid criticism of this thread, but I detect an issue with speculation behind much of the criticism of "iPhone 5" threads recently.

Why else would the critics bother to type a reply?
