What will you do if you don't receive your iphone 4 in June 24th?

i will wait and if it doesn't come by 10 in the morning, then i will camp outside my house for the fedx guy. then if it doesn't come that day im guna throw all my apple stuff off my roof. ok maby not my imac or...my iphone or...my ipad and not my ipods god i just love my stuff too much:D

There are a couple options...

-Wait patiently.
-Come here and try to get some people to support me in class action lawsuit.
-Whine and b1tch to my husband how much AT&T sucks even thought I pre ordered through Apple. Because ultimately everything is AT&Ts fault.

Or because you have now jinxed the delivery, hack into MR database get your IP, hunt you down and give you a wedgie. :)
 
C'mon. What kind of question/thread is this.

This whole pre-ordering process has been a great reminder that stuff is just stuff. I will get to Best Buy really early and that, but if they tell me before hand that they arent going to have any, then I will get it when I get it.

Stomping feet and acting as if your first born was just sacrificed does nothing except compromise my integrity. We'll all get our iPhone's. Some sooner than others. Thats Life.

Hope I can get one before July 21rst which is all I really want.

Damnit, what I really wanted was to be able to leasurely shop, look at the other phones available, pretend I actually was trying to make up my mind (cause shopping for gadgets is fun) and then pick out the iphone and be able to get it at least a week from when I order it (cause I knew our contract ran out now and me loving gadgets always ends up starting to look at what I can buy when I know I'm up for an upgrade. And now that I have my iphone, I wouldn't consider another phone or rather I like it enough that it's just too easy for me to say, Ah, just get the new iphone. Unless it was really crappy I was probably going to get the iphone regardless of what they announced it had).

That was my original plan anyways until I decided that, yes, I want it when I saw the keynote speech. Even then the plan was ok, I can wait for my roommate to look at it, it will make it that more exciting as the wait makes things more shiney! Then all this hype happened and paranoid me (cause these thigns do make me paranoid) was like, I better find a way of ordering one now or soon or I might not get it before I go on vacation (which is a little less than a month after the iphone comes out).

Man, if I do get my reserved on Thursday, I'm going to be so excited though! SHINEY!
 
I don't need to get it first day, as long as my pre order from the AT&T store comes in by Friday, otherwise I leave town and can't get it, plus I sold my 3GS and I'm going phone-less!!!
 
I guess the only option is to wait.

BUT, i will wait and rant while im waiting. I will go on about how Steve Jobs is a loser and i hate him. And then go on to say i hate Apple as a company. Then i will probably proceed to make mean comments about AT&T as well. And maybe call some people bad things and do some bad things and regret everything i said and did because i realized it was still only the 23rd.

I must say though, i do hate MacRumors lack of emoticons... Theres only 12. what kind of forum only has 12 emoticons?!

Frequent MacRumors reader, apple fan for years, but this is just too much.

If Apple can honor your order and logistics work out, you'll get your iPhone 4 on the 24th as promised. If not, they'll tell you. It'll look something like this nice note I got, ordering the iPod Mini 4GB when it first came out in '04:

To Our Valued Apple Customer:

The demand for the iPod mini has been incredible. While we are shipping the orders as fast as possible, we are not able to ship your order as quickly as originally anticipated. That was actually for my wife's birthday, so I wrapped up a picture of the Mini and put it in a card. It arrived something like 6 weeks later. It's been a few years, but I don't recall throwing a hissy, chewing on the rug, or any of the other antics some of you are contemplating.. So, take it easy, it's just a phone, not the messiah.

Oh, and the guys trying to get a $100 voucher for their 'trouble'? Really? Pre-order trouble?

And the guy who compared Apple's free shipping offer to Hitlers free rail cars for Jews during the holocaust? ####-you pal. 100%

If you're at all curious, I'm not worrying myself, I ordered my 32GB just after lunch on Tuesday with no problems whatsoever.. Now, I was in Singapore on Tuesday, but that's not really the point I'm trying to make..
 
Uh , I preordered mine at 9:30 AM on the 15th from apple.com. So barring an earthquake, terror attack, or just plain old brimstone and apocalypse i should have my iPhone 4.

If any of that happens or if i just don't get it, Life will go on after all it's just a phone. And life is too short to get wrapped up in material goods and people really place too much value on objects sometimes.
 
I'm gonna head to my local apple and ATT store and threaten all the employees. But seriously, is it really that big a deal if you don't get it on release day? I have a pre order in but if theirs some unforeseen problem that arises which prevents me from receiving it on the 24th then i'll just wait it out.
