Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_5 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8L1 Safari/6533.18.5)

I would buy it holding my nose since my iPhone cracked and I NEED a new one.

It just kinda makes me mad that we wait this long for a POS excuse for a refresh.

I love my iPhone 4. It has an incredible design. Having a faster version of what I already love? No question.

I honestly hope it flops to show that that wasn't the right choice.

I will buy it because I get an upgrade every 12 months. Which means I will also get the iPhone 6.

Yeah at least I'd get a white one.

I wold honestly read the 100 threads on this subject instead of creating a new one. :p

Next iPhone > iPhone 4 regardless of what it is called
What makes it a refresh as opposed to the "next great thing"?
I don't care about the name or what others say about it
Whatever it is, it is an upgrade from the iPhone 4
At what point does that upgrade warrant being called 5 and not 4S
I don't know and I don't care

Personally, I'd do this.

I'd probably first break down in tears and start cursing at my computer screen.

Come on here, post a few angry threads and comments, then cry some more.

Then I'd look at my existing iPhone and tell it how it is old and outdated and isn't worth anything.

Then I'd go on Facebook and Twitter and make some irrational posts.

Then I'd probably go cry myself to sleep knowing that I'll have to live another year with an outdated cell phone.

I will almost certainly buy it if my upgrade date gets bumped up. My iPhone 4 got water damaged so I am in need of a new phone. I was completely infatuated with my 4 so I'm actually hoping the new one is the same/same-ish design. If they do the "5" with that ridiculous teardrop shape I will bite the bullet and do an out of warranty replacement for another 4...That concept just isn't my cup of tea

Keep my 3GS until Apple decides to build a phone out of something besides fragile shattering glass.

I'll buy it. Honestly, I WANT a redesign because it would be cool, but it is not necessary. The main reason I want to upgrade is the faster processor, better graphics, better camera, faster data. I can deal with that.

after many years of focusing on iOS purchases, this year I told myself I'd focus more on the Mac side. Let's see, already picked up a 17" MBP, and just bought an ATD, not interested in another iPhone...

I've finally got the discrete graphics I've always wanted and now have the mega display, iPhone 4 is still incredible to use so why bother upgrading? I'm more excited for iOS 5...

Buy it a month or two later rather than waiting in line on the day.

There's no point in me not upgrading as it will barely cost me any more (depreciation over one year x 2 phones, or depreciation over two years - not much difference.)

No.
I'm gonna save my upgrade for a bigger screen iPhone when ever it comes out!

If this upgraded iPhone 4 has a 4 inch screen, then I'll go for it. Otherwise, I will hang on to my iPhone 4, and wait for bigger screen to come along next year. If by next year there's still no bigger screen, I'll expire WP7. Android would not be considered mainly because of malware issues.

I'd hold on to my 3GS until the 5 came out (it will, after all, eventually come out at some point in time).

I have absolutely zero interest in moving to an Android or Windows phone.

I bought my 3Gs on launch day, and it's pretty much dead. I don't care what Apple releases, I'm buying it, and I'm sure I'll love it.
