What won me over to wanting an iPad? My old roommate got a Sprint Samsung Tab 7 and I wanted to test drive his Tab. It was nice to carry around and on the couch so I went through 3 iPads with different generations.

What won me over was the ability to use it as a TV at night and it didn't keep my wife awake.

I love the ipad as a cool way to surf the web, check mails and watch some vídeos and photos on the bed...
