It doesn't matter whether it's an impulse buy or something important,
big or small, cheap or expensive 🤑💸

since this is a computer site

Asus Ponder Blue 14" 1TB 32GB Ram notebook with windows 10

I would not care about getting hacked since "money were no object"

A solar system. A minor one would do. Nothing too big. I wouldn't want to appear ostentatious

It would have to be local, because I don't want to put up with excessive travel time. A galaxy would be too large, and far too time-consuming to travel around in. And a galaxy cluster would be impossible So a solar system would be just about right.

The reason for a solar system instead of just a planet is the question of spares. With multiple planets, you can play around a bit first. I could drop a few asteroids onto planets, or maybe smash a couple gas giants together to make a proto-star. Way more choices, and free do-overs!

Does your solar system include all the way out to the heliopause (edge of interstellar space) or just to the Oort Cloud or to your furthest orbiting planet?

Short term.
1. I’d like to put the heating on.
Medium term
2. A maxed out Mac Studio/iPhone Pro/AW Hermes to replace all my aging kit.
3. About 10 more Nikon Z lenses and Z9 and Z8.
4. A new EV. Either a BMW or similar.
Long Term
5. I’d fund political parties in my country and other countries more aligned with my world view.
6. Something whimsical!

For EVs, I would probably have a Mercedes EQS 450+ "limousinen". Mine would be "rubellirot metallic" exterior, "roségrau/schwarz" interior with the 21" AMG alloy wheels in "vielspeichen-design". That's from the configurator:

That's still my favourite looking EV - it just looks very clean, smooth and simple. In time I think that design will age very well.

Plus it isn't a high riding SUV, I don't like riding in high up cars, nor getting in and out of them.

In contrast I'm not so sure the new BMW iX3 design will age that well, even though technology wise it is obviously one of the big releases of this year. Also from Mercedes, I think the new GLC EQ is a really heavy-handed front design stuck on a relatively normal, conservative SUV design and it is not at all elegant.
