If you could change or add a few things about the Apple Watch what would it be?

I would like to be able to lock a watch face in place. Maybe have to use force touch to change it. Too many inadvertent face changes.
Another would be to have a modular watch face with the time centered in the middle. Seems like this should be a given, after all showing the time front and center on a watch would be a nice option.
Also, I would add the notes app to the Watch. I know there are other apps, but I like the Apple app, I use it all the time along with family members who add to a group note. It would be nice to have it on the watch. Might as well add the calculator app on it too!
I wouldn't mind seeing some watch faces in the App Store either.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on the Apple Watch, in fact I'm enjoying it a lot. Just thinking of things that might make it better.

This is the only thing I wish Apple would change back. Although I've taken to using different Faces like they were Spaces in macOS (different sets of complications on each Face), it wasn't much of a problem to Force Press and then switch faces in watchOS 1 and 2.

I'd also like to have a sort of "forearm detection" where crossing my arms and accidentally touching the screen with my forearm won't trigger launching an app from a complication or change the watch face. It's less of a problem when I cover more of the screen, which is like covering the face with your palm to dismiss the display; but it's that "halfway covered" that accidentally triggers events from the screen.

Can't think of much else to change.

I definitely would like to see a larger array of Watch faces. I like the existing faces currently, but I wish Apple would allow third party developers to have access.

I would also prefer a larger display in the next major overhaul. Perhaps a 44 MM screen.

Additional casing options would be nice for more diversity, I.e. Tungsten, Titamium would be nice.

Casing colors, perhaps a rose gold Stainless would be something I would be interested in personally. I love the regular stainless and black stainless.

The circle cluster user interface seems convoluted. I understand why it's circular and it's somewhat customizable, but a more organized structure would make it easier to navigate.

Perhaps give Siri a voice. I would like feedback of the task completed, this would allow to audibly hear what was completed.

I agree. Let Siri be heard!

Opening up custom watch faces to 3rd party developers is a must.. Should have already been done.

If there is anything more customizable than the switching Watch bands, it would be switching Watch faces. I do think Apple will eventually allow developers to have access, but for now, it's unfortunately restricted.

I too would add the stock iOS Notes app. It seems funny that it's not there. I would definitely use it.
I would also use a cellular connection, if and when it ever comes to the watch. My office is in an ancient building where the wifi is basically nonexistent and it'd be nice to stay connected when I'm out of range of my phone, which often happens when I leave it at my desk.
I'd also love the option of being able to sync my health data to my iPad for users who opt into that. I review that stuff a lot and it'd be nice to not have to need my iPhone for that.
Also it'd be really cool if Apple made a Lightning to Apple Watch adapter. Something like a miniature version of the current magnetic charging dock would be ideal. As it is I have very few outlets in my old building and it'd be a lot more efficient if I could just leave a few lightning cables plugged in and charge my Watch off of that somehow.

I'd like a notification when you get out of range of your phone. I've left my phone at work a couple of times (I keep it in a charging stand there) and it's a pain going back. I'd love a Hermés-style rectangular face. I'd like an analog face with two large complication slots.

Regards to your office not having Wi-Fi, then perhaps if Apple releases a cellular version of the Apple Watch, that would meet the needs of having your iPhone and Apple Watch tethered together.

I'd put the option of having the "Now Playing" back to been a swipe up from the bottom. I use it far more than the toggle buttons that are there now

I would love for the digital crown to be a "volume adjuster" for earphones by default (screen both on and off).
But it should only change the volume setting if something is actually playing.

I have the Airpods and haven't paired them yet with my Apple Watch. But that would be a Nice feature.

THIS! Even if only during workouts.

Speaking of more uses for the crown --

I would like it to scroll through lists on my Apple TV when I use the watch as a remote control. I've tried it subconsciously many times already.

Scribble would be nice to use with the Apple TV, too.

The ability to downgrade Watch OS. Holy crap my S0 is sluggish as heck.

My First Gen stainless models are running efficiently with hardly any lag. Dare I say even better than before the last update. What are you experiencing for lag? Have you tried a re-pair.

I'll give it a try later on today. Mine just feels sluggish now. Just switching between the app screen and watch face, is stutters, and there are times where I'll go to press something twice because I think it hasn't recognised the input only to see it finally do something. I barely use it for Apps because it's just a terrible experience.

More Homekit products for a better value, Eve Energy is too expensive and I need many of them. Apple Pay in Sweden. "Apple Key" to remove my car and home key. Blood sugar sensor, "Take an apple cause you will get grumpy in 10 minutes"

Apple should make a few more apps themselves and should stop relying so much on third-party, when it comes to software. Show us revolutionary again!

Siri needs to become waaay better.

I would like to have the stock notes app, I actually just looked for it earlier today and realized it wasn't a thing!
Being able to lock faces would be nice
Like someone earlier said, better forearm detection would be appreciated
I would like nightstand mode to always display the time, and be able to adjust the brightness (down to off) with the crown. (if OLED burn in is an issue, just have the time move around on the screen slowly like a dvd player or something)
I would also like the option to have an always on time displayed, but without complications. Waking the watch up when you raise the wrist or something like that would then go to your regular watch face.
With the changes to lock faces behind a force touch (I never owned an apple watch back in watchOS 1 or 2, so I suppose like that?) then I would like to access now playing from swiping from the left and then the ability to "pin" an app to be accessed from swiping to the right.
And finally, I would like the digital crown to adjust volume when the display is off or you're on the watch face, not sure how this would be handled if you're on some of the faces that already interact with the digital crown, but I'm sure apple could find a way.
