Thank you!Try and greet him and get his autograph.
Say what you want about Microsoft and their products, but if it wasn't for him and others (Jobs and Woz included) back in the 70s and 80s, we may not be anywhere near where we are today in terms of technology. Rather than be a jerk towards him like I think many here would, I'd thank him for his contributions to personal computing
I am an ass so I would likely suggest the he actually put out an operating system that can compete with Leopard. I bought a new computer for Leopard and I am sure Apple's Mac Market Share will grow even more this quarter, I wonder how people people went and bought a PC just to run Vista, I am sure the number of people downgrading to XP was higher.
Microsoft is a horrible company with horrible products. My Thinkpad runs Linux and I haven't had Windows installed on any of my personal machines in at least a year.
I totally agree! Hey, I'm not a total Microsoft enemy, I think Office for mac is great, and so is the Xbox. But hey, they could drop the zune, windows and steve ballmer (he's unprofessional).
I'd leave him be....I'm not a fan of bothering famous people for autographs etc.![]()
I am going to have to disagree with even Office being the choice suite, I have been using OpenOffice.org since my switch to Linux and even use it on my Mac (waiting for the bugs to be worked out of the Aqua version so I don't have to run X11). I am not a gamer but even with that said I like the Wii and PS3 way better than the 360 (and the first Xbox was only good if it was being modded ot run Linux).
I would say that I really like my XBox 360
only because microsoft lost money on the purchase
I'm not a big Donny Deutsch fan, but it's pretty cool that he asked him that question.I love when he was interviewed by Donny Deutsch once, and Donny asked Bill, "What's on your iPod" The look on Bills face was precious.
Maybe there is a reason for you not using it, but NeoOffice is a great port of OpenOffice for the Mac. Fatastic in the waiting time for OpenOffice to go native![]()
I'd scream "Oh my god, it's Steve Jobs!" and get him to sign my copy of Leopard.
