iPod watch holding 120 songs or 60songs

costing 150 and 99

the top of the watch would be the music player with Shuffle controls and then you flip that up and see the Clock(digitail)

or would the other way be better?

...also...

Speed increases for the .Mac iDisk. It's *unbearably* slow. I'd love to just be able to use it as a place to store my documents by default, but it takes forever to browse to the folders I need, forever to right click on documents to get properties, etc.

The launch of OS X for generic Wintel boxes so I can run it (legally) on my x64 box. I know this is a no brainer for Apple as I beleive that they've said that they won't be a software house for Intel PC's.

Shame really. I'll have to stick to Ubuntu !

It's not a whole lot but:

1. better .mac (speed increase, more functionality, tighter app integration)
2. iPhone or AT LEAST better iSync support for more phones
3. bluetooth headset, compatible with iChat

iPhone? Maybe, especially one that sync well with iCal and doesn't make a mess out of my address book.

iPad? (Tablet) Oh please, oh please. I'd rather it not be a laptop replacement, but a sub-laptop, no optical drive and very light, maybe even sans keyboard or at least allow you to connect a keyboard via BT. It could be used as an eBook reader, iTunes Video pad, or as a control for Front Row and the...

iDVR. Apple seriously TiVo is decent but it could be better and I think Apple is just the company to make this work. Apple's dipped their toe in the water with Front Row, but now is the time to make the Mac Mini into a Media Center workhorse. I know they'll make one the minute I buy a TiVo.

iWork. Pages needs a lot of work, but it shows promise.
Aperature Light. The specs on Aperature are brutal, but maybe a amateur version.

And last but not least: Apple, please start working with other companies on a music download standard, this war of attrition between iTunes/iPod and everyone else is going to suck and since you're in the driver's seat it's time to make demand and moreso be a leader in the industry. Consumers are going to want one standard and opening up Fairplay under specific contracts will do that. Ultimately, iTunes is going to be much more important than the iPod. Start now, but wait until later. Use it was a leverage for your market-share, but soon be ready to Microsoft the standard.

maybe an iPhone, but i'd be happier if i could get a new PowerBook that spat out £50 notes whenever i needed, without charging me at all.

now that would be GOOD.

iPod - Line up as now pretty much...except...
iPod/Watch - A set of really good over-the-head headphones with the flash memory and battery built in, maybe 8GB and 8hrs, and Bluetooth that connects to a watch which acts as a BT remote for the headphones with colour screen.
iPhone - Basically an iPod with text & phone call capability, no number pad and no camera. (kinda like the iMate Jam)
iPDA - iPhone but with bigger screen and added number/keypad (kinda like iMate K-Jam or JasJar)
iTablet - iBook spec but with an ~A5 screen and full keyboard, no or seperate optical drive
iBook/PBook - pretty much as now.
Desktops - pretty much as now...except...
iDVR - A real kickass DVR/media centre option.

iWork Pro - AppleWorks on steriods and speed.

Is that really too much to ask?

I want a laptop with the durability of the ToughBook line, at least 8 operating hours (which equates to 10+ hrs on paper  ), and a bright screen that doesn't have the nasty glare-screen crap that pc's are pitching these days.

Other than that, I don't mind the current performance levels, although bumps would be welcome but I imagine those are coming with Intel procs, and the form-factors are great so I don't mind that either. What I'm getting at current prices is fair, so include a much better battery (over twice as strong) and some new casing materials, I'd be happy to pay the same or even a bit more ;)

Oh, I'd really like to see PowerBooks in a molded carbon fiber shell...mmmm :D

some kind of tablet. thin and small, like 6-8 inches screen, no keyboard except bluetooth, no drives. just USB2.0, wi-fi, and bluetooth.

An Airport Express unit that streams Front Row onto your TV. Or a designated media centre box.

An iPhone (done right) would be amazingly useful too.

2 things such as iPhone would be great...........

And the iTablet sounds good to me....

30" iMAC?

Nice to dangle on a wall, would have plenty of room for cooling for fast chips, and could easily include a tuner for TV (maybe even HD?). Fancy it could make a very useful publicity tool for business with just 1 power lead using Bluetooth, but Apple might see it competing with their pro boxes?
(Have been waiting for this one since the 30" CD's came out, but have given in to new 20" temptation!)

Faster iPods.

Seriously.

I've got 6000 songs on mine and it is SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW. When I go to skip songs or find other albums, it seems like it takes forever to play, skip ahead, etc. I've tried wiping the thing clean and re-uploading all my music and it still sucks. Time for the iPod G5

Gamers University

Word processing software, data base software, point of purchase software, etc has all been established and has reached a threshold for needed programmers in near future.

Networking will eventually reach a threshold itself and taper off.

What we have left is one industry that will continue to produce software at a constant rate that really if anything will increase in demand by consumers: Game Software.

Apple needs to establish a gaming programmers university and pour alot of interest in creating Apple Gaming Software Developers and Gaming Software for Apple. The goal for Apple should be to reach top ten status with developers such as Electronic Arts, Nintendo, XBox, Sega, Activision, etc.

Apple could create a really cool name and logo for Games Developed by Apple. Everybody would see that on the side of their product packaging and look for it as long as Apple chose the right projects, stuff that would be guaranteed blockbusters.

Come on Apple, there are people ready to work for you and make it happen!

Realistically? Them to stop crippling the consumer lines, like how the mini uses a 9200 instead of a 9550 video chip, and thus can not do CoreImage in the GPU.

Futuristically? Video communicators where you slide open the screen, like so many sci fi shows have.

iPhone.

definitely

Even more so than a phone or PDA...I'd really like to see an Apple cell phone service. Cell phone companies are ruthless crooks, and if Apple brought an open, fair business model to consumers I would definitely buy in. But if they sold the service with their own phone/PDA, that would be cool too. The tight integration of hardware and services would lead to things working better.

Products encased in polycarbonate plastic that doesn't scratch.

And no, I'm not one of those fifth-generation iPod people. I just think Apple customers deserve a better plastic. :p
