This is a flawed poll. We can only select one option while many of us are waiting for multiple things. Can I say "most of the above, then?"

It's pretty much "Pick Your Favorite." I'll change it so you can select more than one (and will have more options) for the next poll.

I would LOVE to see a 13" widescreen MacBookPro. While the 12" PowerBook was nice, I can't imagine doing FCE on a 4:3 display, let alone a 12" display.

But, until that comes (or doesn't), I'm saving for a MacBook, probably white. The black is cool and all, but it's not very Apple-esque, nor does it match any of my other products/cable (except for my 5G iPod.) Plus, it's an extra (and pointless) $80. The glossy screen doesn't bother me as much as it does to some people, but I'd prefer a matte screen. I'd get a MacBookPro 15" for its increased power, but it's hard to justify the extra $400-500 for a MBP over a MacBook when all I'd be getting was 15" screen over 13" and an extra 160 MHz.

I'd also like to upgrade my iMac to Leopard, and possibly iWork. I'm getting a little tired of Office.

Nothing; I'm perfectly happy with the iMac Core 2 Duo I am using as my main machine. When it comes to stuff like the :apple: TV and iPhone Apple will have to try a lot harder before they get me to buy them. Sure I'd love a network based multimedia device but it would have to play all common formats not just be an iTunes extender. Any phone I was going to buy would have to support modern features such as 3G, 3rd party apps, wireless, and a heap more, a nice interface with no features under it is pointless to me.

I guess if I had to pick 1 thing coming out of Apple in the near future I had an interest in it would be OS X 10.5. I'm not "waiting" for it though. I am perfectly happy with Tiger.

When (if) my son starts doing better in school; then I'm going to get a new iMac and my daughter will get my current iMac and he'll get her mini.

where I come from aluminum is only good for things like drink cans.

It's also very good for shielding the WLAN antenna of my Powerbook.. :(

That said, I'm waiting for the Apple convertible tablet. If they don't come up with one in the next year, I'll go for a Lenovo X60..
