Well, I just got back from Easter Vigil, which was two hours almost to the minute.
I especially liked it this year - we had one Catechumen and one Candidate(Candidates have been baptized, so just need to make First Communion/Confirmation/Profession of Faith, while Catechumens have baptism thrown in with the other three), which is actually more than usual, and because I served at the altar this year, I got a first-rate view of the proceeding. It sound odd, but it really is an awesome experience to witness these people coming into the Church. From where my parents usually sit, you can't see a thing, so this was nice.
And tomorrow, we're having my dad's side of the family over for Easter, as well as my grandma on my mom's side and my great aunt. We seem to have the best entertaining house out of all of them, because family gatherings usually default to us on both sides of the family. When we don't want them or can't have them, we ask other family members to have them, usually two of my dad's brothers or my mom's brother.
So yeah. Busy schedule.
