So I just got my MBA and I'm actually hitting the road later today, what programs / stuff did you throw on your MBA to make it pur?

Adobe CS3 Suite, iWork 08, and MS Office Home & Student 2008.

Then I downloaded Adium and Skype for chatting.

And of course I configured it to use my .Mac subscription to get all my settings, e-mails, bookmarks, etc. synched up with my desktop.

All these and some other software bought directly from the developers, or in bundles like MacHeist. But you know what? In fact, I never bought software as a Windows user. There's a great thing about Mac software: there are valuable options coming from smaller software houses.

And they're so cheap! I spent way less buying all of these than a copy of MS Office (here in Brazil it costs like 700 USD).
