Had 3 try on sessions before deciding on the 42mm. My wrists are about 170mm.

After the last few weeks, in considering returning the 42mm for the 38mm.

What do you guys think?

P.S. No idea why the thumbnail orientation is wrong. It rotates properly if you click the image

The 42mm is definetly the more smart watchy look. I'd say if you are looking for something more traditional then get the 38mm. Both will look fine on you, so either way, enjoy your  Watch!

Thanks! Here's a pic of the 38mm during my tryon session

I have 180mm wrists and rock the 42mm, slightly better battery life - and I don't find it to be especially large anyway. My 42mm Mondaine Retro Automatic is much larger looking on my wrist than the Apple Watch is.

Both look good. If I were you, I'd stick with it, especially because the wait might be quite along time. If you enjoy the benefits and like the screen size, then it's ok.

Both work. It's really a personal preference. I think the 38mm is better balanced on your wrist, but there's nothing wrong with the more techy-vibe the 42mm gives off.

The 38mm SS Classic is shipping pretty quick. I ordered it (after canceling my 42mm) on 5/1 and got preparing for shipping 24 hours later! Should be here Monday or Tuesday. I have about 177mm wrists but opted for the 38mm because after having worn both pebble and pebble steel I want something that doesn't stand out as a smart watch and is smaller on wrist during workouts. Ei Her would work for you so it's just a matter of what you think looks and feels better!

Thanks guys, those are all very logical and valid comments, appreciate it.

I've decided to go for the 38mm and return the current 42mm. I like the screen size of the 42mm but based on my personal preference, would prefer something less "techy" not that the 42mm looks more like a gadget in general, it just does on my wrists!

Not sure about the battery life of the 38mm in comparison but I hope its as capable as the 42mm in getting me through the day!

I also have 170mm wrist size and I never did a try-on session at the  Store so I was concerned that it would be too big when I received it. It's not too big. The 42mm looks great!

Hope you get it ASAP!

Yeah, even my wife opted for the 42mm even though it's and "oversized" fitment - she digs on the larger display and additional battery life and already wore some larger watches (and she's pretty fashion hip).
