I use Microsoft Messenger 8 (Microsoft's official MSN client.) I don't like Adium myself, since it has an absolutely horrible interface.

Adium does seem to have a lot of support on these forums, though.

I use iChat. I don't IM much at all. I mainly use it for file sharing, screen sharing and video chat... the non-porn video chatting. 😀

There are a huge amount of skins for Adium and you can tweak just about every aspect of it. I'm pretty sure you could make it look exactly like messenger.

That's funny. I've never seen an IM program that had a more customizable interface to make exactly to your liking.

I've used Adium but prefer iChat because of it's AV features. Other than that they are comparable and it just comes down to personal preference.

I really like the look and feel of iChat, but it's no good for msn....unless there has been an update i missed?

i'm another vote for adium. its so customisable, and some of the dock icons rock! im using darth vadar at the moment. or is it Duck Vadar???

Well I wouldn't, but someone seemed fond of the Messenger interface, which looks remarkably like another Mac chat application...
