Any ideas about good notebook sleeves for the 15" Macbook Pro? It does not need to have handles, and I'm not looking for a messenger bag. It just needs to protect the machine enough so that it doesn't scratched when I place it in a backpack. (I have zippers in mind, but I'm open to ideas.) I prefer something around $20 if possible, but I realize they go for much higher?

I've the Crumpler School Hymn 15" for about 4 months now. Works great, no problems.

Don't believe the price on the Crumpler website -- I was able to find it for about half that cost at my campus retailer, so shop around.

Ditto on this. Absolutely bomb-proof, and made with great care. Every Waterfield item I've purchased has come with a handwritten note thanking me for my order. Genuine customer service from these folks, and their products are superb. :)

    Spire Boot

Try the Boot from Spire -- $30 and will fit the MBP 15" perfectly.

Seriously, you are doing yourself a disservice if you buy anything other than the ZeroShock III - 15" Widescreen Notebook Sleeve. The ZeroShocks are, hands down, the best protective sleeve you can buy. I NEVER buy a laptop without one.
