what's a good video converter w/ no audio video sync problem?

hey everyone,
I'm new to mac, just got myself the aluminum macbook. I was wondering if anybody knows a good video converter porgram to convert avi video for iphone. I notice tried a few softwares and in all of them, the audio was not in sync with the video. and thats very annoying.

any advise appreciated..

Visual Hub is a good one although it does cost money... There are otherways but i cant say since its the rules

Torrent iSquint. It's free, less feature version of VisualHub. It was free, but the developer; who also developed VisualHub, shut down.

transcoderredux was not released by Techspansion. Transcoderredux is a open source project. Thanks to the original developer of VisualHub being kind and releasing the source code. When he decided to close up shop.

If you can find one of the later versions of visualhub 1.3.4 I believe.
You wont be disappointed. I have done hundreds of .h264 ipod encodes. From dvd's ripped with mac the ripper. Not one of them having any audio sync problems.
