like the title says...

I have some WMV videos that I tried on Quicktime but they don't work. so I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction as to where I can D/L a WMV that's free but actually works.

thanks for any suggestions.

^ thanks for the suggestion but I already tried that. for some stupid reason though it won't play WMV files.

I have no idea why. 😕

Flip4Mac cannot handle DRMed files. Neither can it play WMV10 or WMV11. However, Dirty Debutantes clips are the only videos in WMV10 that interest me. They are DRMed and nothing on the Mac plays DRMed WMVs. FWIW, since Microsoft dropped development of Windows Media Player for Mac, a WMV9 player, the adoption of the format by third-parties seems to have come to a screeching halt.

Suggestion: Whenever you have a media-compatibility question, you should give a link to a sample file so that we can check it for file integrity and format.
