What's a really good 1080P YouTube video that isn't letterboxed?

Want to see something that really shows off the 6+ screen but everything seems to be letterboxed and not showing full screen.

Any suggestions? I was thinking movie trailers as they always look good but again, all letterboxed it seems.

YouTube app is not optimized yet for the screen. Also, 720p is the maximum resolution YouTube app does.

There are usually some free video snippets on the iTunes video page. Looks on the sidebar for "Free", etc... I had a couple of videos of a NOVA documentary that was 1080p. The entire hour episode was free.

You can also go look at trailers.apple.com/trailers and watch some movie trailers...

It's letterboxed because the material you are seeing has an aspect ratio of 21x9 and the iphone is 16x9. SO anything you see that is wider than 1.85:1, will be letterboxed.

Check out the "Rocky 6" movie trailer on youtube for example. That movie is 1.85:1 and it will fill up the 16x9 aspect ratio of your iPhone.

Unless the youtube update hasn't come to the iPhones, there is an option on the youtube app to change the resolution
