Depends on you...

Refurbished: less battery life, dgpu, 200 bucks less...

New: battery life, weaker graphics...


I would recommend you the new one... Or a refurbished 2013 Model

Yeah it was $100. I ended up getting the new one for 1900 plus apple care for 250.
