This is why I try not to avoid using Windows (XP Pro SP3). I picked up the Zune (Black) 80GB, I'm loving it/more than the iPod. [IMG] My 32GB touch was stolen and thought I'd give this a shot since new iPod's are arriving this Fall.

Anyways, I get this Blue Screen with Messages that I can't even read and it restarts back to Leopard. I'm lost and have no idea what to do and the Zune can only be used with Windows. I tried HDD's Check Error, Repair, etc.

Is this a HDD or Software issue? Thanks.

Try unplugging all your unneeded devices. Then boot to Safe Mode (hit F8 for the boot menu in Windows). When in there use system restore to go back to a point before this happened.

That will at least let you get back in to windows.

Re-install the stuff you need (stuff you will have added after the date/time of the restore point) and make a new restore point before each install.

This way you should identify the install/update that is killing your windows. You can also goto Control Panel/System/Advanced - there you can tell windows not to automatically restart after a failure.

Right-Click on "My Computer" and CLick on the "Advanced tab" and then "Settings" under Startup and Recovery. Uncheck the box that says Automatically Restart. Now when Windows crashes, you will see the Blue Screen and it will tell you what is crashing the system. Its probably a driver.
