Because iPhone lovers will get bent out of shape over all the criticism and comparisons that the new device will get on the thread.

It's all about the OS for me and I like how Android allows customization. If Apple were to allow more flexiability with iOS on how you arrange icons, having widgets, USB charging/connection, etc. I might switch to the iPhone.

    Indeed!

I'm sticking with my 4S for now (with a lax plan to upgrade to the 5S next year), but if Verizon offers some enticing deals on a CDMA version of the Nokia 920, I might jump ship. I honestly see WP8 becoming a major player in the next six months and I'm already impressed with the strides MS has made with SkyDrive and all of the PC integration.

Already switched and couldn't be happier.

I think the iPhone is losing its MOJO.

    HTC One X FTW!!!

No, I rooted and unlocked all in one night and then got burn out and fed up the next day and accepted the 2.20 upgrade.

After having the crash course (this is my first Android after all FIVE iPhones) of rooting and unlocking, I got frustrated to quickly and accepted the upgrade.

Like some have noted, though, rooting and unlocking and flashing on HTC is no joke... sheesh, felt like I was preparing for class or something.

Too, it really is a entirely better device on 2.20, well worth the no-root for now.

Already went for the Galaxy S3, but still holding on to my iPhone 4 as it's been the most solid device for such a long period of time.

think I'll be grabbing the Note 2 when it comes out. I've been with iPhone since the beginning and just feel like it's time for a change.

after getting my S2. I kept wanting to use my iphone 4. I gave my self a week and then went back for a few days and instantly realized iphone was just my brain telling me i wanna use it for no logical reason. and then i went back to S2->skyrocket->s3 for good.

I'm not entirely sure. The lack of leaks at this point is a little perplexing.

This. Then I'll decide between the new Nexus and the Galaxy S3.

So far, this is my option. I have the Nexus now and will probably get the next Nexus if it the specs are significantly better. It would be a nice bonus if the fit and finish was more luxurious as well.

I will also be checking out the Lumia 920 in the store as well as the iPhone 5, but I'm not sure if I'm willing to jump into a closed platform.
