I’ve always had trouble opening up Youtube videos over the past couple years and now with Adobe Flash gone, it’s even worst.

What’s everyone using now? Thanks.

I dunno, whatever sites switched to about five years ago.

The last holdout was the investment section of Mint.com. I think that finally moved to newer web technology a year or two ago. I removed Flash Player from my system long before that (maybe 7-8 years ago) so I relied on other ways to track investments instead of Mint.com's Flash-based content. (Mint.com is exceptionally bad at handling bond investments.)

Apart from that I can't think of a single other site that required Flash that I've visited in the past five years.

OK, if I click on “Learn More”, I get the info in the other pic. I’ve done everything but use Chrome.

However, I can open any Youtube videos on my iPhone so there something going on with my MacBook Pro and I don’t know what it is.

My employer, the federal government, still has plenty of Flash content (among other ancient things) on internal websites. We use Internet Explorer.

I remember that there used to be an iOS browser that translated Flash content so it would play - possibly Opera? That of course died off when Apple decided competing browser engines were no longer welcome, but perhaps the idea could be implemented on other platforms?
