What’s happened to my subscribed podcasts??

So my Apple TV 3 won’t let me listen to subscribed podcasts.

I’m getting a message on screen saying podcasts no longer available on iTunes.

Is this an ongoing problem or do I need to update something in my settings?

There is a Podcast app in the generation 4 and later ATVs. The gen 3 doesn't have an App store, so unless it has or gets the Podcast app, you might be SOL.

It’s got the podcast app, it always has….how else would I have known the podcasts were now unavailable as I said in my original post.
