Hi, I am planning on asking one of my friends to buy me apple care in the US (macbook also purchased there). Apart from the code, which he can tell me, is there anything else that i need in the box to upgrade the warrant of my laptop?

I noticed that you are charged tax when purchasing AppleCare, guess the box and dinky things that come with it are the reason...🙄
