What's in the box modified to show 2m charger

Last week I was disappointed that the In the Box comments on the website all said we were getting the 1m cable instead of the 2m cable. I had expected the 2m because that is what the out of the box video showed.

I was just looking at the one I ordered again on the website and NOW it says we are getting the 2m cable.

Strange, always showed as 2m in the UK.

I almost ordered the 2m. Glad I didn't!
I thought that one unboxing video they posted had a pretty long looking cable.

Hadn't thought about that. Was more wondering about charging the watch and phone next to my bed each night, not yet found a stand with 2 usb that I like.

Is the iPhone cable 6ft? Pretty sure it is only 3 and I can't understand the logic. Hate the the short iPhone cords cause I tend to charge and use in bed and short cords make that uncomfortable. Why would the watch need a loner cord than a phone?

My theory would be the phone you are more likely to be plugging into a computer - hence you don;t need the length.

For a watch, you might leave the charger plugged into an outlet behind a dresser or chest of drawers, with your wallet, keys etc. and need the extra length to reach.

Just an idea.

I suppose but I think by now apple knows almost everyone charges next to their bed and are more than likely guilty of playing iOS games in bed. Anyways cool that they gave the longer cord first this time

A bit frustrating since I thought we were getting the 2m so I ordered a 1m. Went to the site and saw a 1m was in the box so I canceled the 1m and now have a 2m on order. Sigh... No big deal I guess.

Ordered the 2m cable thinking I'd only get the 1m with the watch, now it just means I'll have two good ones
