what's on in London?

In a week I'll be in London for a few days. I've done the usual sight seeing highlights in the past and, yes, been to the Apple store..........I'm looking for recommendations for things to see; temporary shows at any of the musuems or galleries or ??? Is the crack in the floor of the Tate worth seeing? What else?

The 'London Film Festival' runs until November 1st, would be worth checking out if you enjoy cinema.

There's always something on at the Photographers Gallery.

Unfortunately you've just missed the London Design Festival.

Is the crack in the floor of the Tate worth seeing?

It's very impressive. The Turbine Hall is unarguably the greatest gallery space in the whole city IMHO.
