What's so good about the Magpul Field case?

Go with flat earth or whatever it's called. I have that and a gold phone. It's kind of like the color on the sides of the iphone

I've had the field case on all of my iPhones. The 3GS seemed to suffer from the oily problem but I never noticed it on my 4S and have had one on my 5S since launch day and haven't noticed anything yet.

I had one for my 4s. It fit very well for about a week then started stretching. Also quite often had a strange oily residue inside the case.

I emailed about it and magpul basically said 'yeah, that happens, don't worry about it'. As if I'll put a case on my £500 phone that oozes oil right onto the back of the phone. No thanks.

So my experience of the magpul case is the opposite of good.

I am currently using a Speck Pixelskin HD and I just decided to replace it with a black Apple Leather Case...Then I saw a lot of people saying the Magpul Field Case.

Not that much difference between the Magpul and the PS HD if the PS fits snugly top-to-bottom. Many complain theirs does not.

If you had a 4S and tried the PS HD on that, you just knew right away these were one solid unit. Magpul comes as close to that solid unit feel on a 5S as I've felt. It just works.

And there's no oil issue with these iPhone 5/5S cases.

Put mine on this morning. Instantly became one of my favourite cases, I really like it. Good protection, yet thin. Nice feel in my hand, which is important to me. Highly recommend it.

How has your Tough Armor fallen out of favor?

I don't like the way the 'sharp' edges feel in my hands after extended use. The back also feels sweaty and slippy. Also, I have now found that the back of my iphone is scratched - a prefect little circle of scratches where the logo hole on the back was.

Which one is your favourite and which do you use on your iphone the most?

My fav is black and clear but I like to change it up a lot .but I would say I use clear the most

They used to have a burnt orange color when the 4S was out. That was a really nice color.
