Been wondering for sometimes, if you look at the frontal side of the iPhone 4S, you will see the camera visible, and then two slits next to it, One of course is the ear output, whats the one above the ear slit. The black has only a camera and an ear slit. Anyone know?

Hmmm...I have a white 4S and I'm not sure what it is. Remember, the black iPhone 4 was the one that came out first, and then we saw a white 4 with the slit.

Could it be an added feature (if it is, this happened with iPhone 4 as well).

There is no physical slit in the Black 4S as there is in the White 4S unless it is behind the glass and why is it not exposed in the Black as the White.

Yes there is, as was with the iP4

It's nothing new the black iPhone 4 has it also just not that visible.

Proximity Sensor? I thought it was a light sensor and prox sensor worked based off of light = 0. Same principal for auto-brightness.
