What's the best IDM - Internet Download Manager?

    I have IDM on my windows and was wondering if there's anything can match up on OSX?

    Hmm... Sorry I'm new to OSX but how do you use jdownloader? it doesn't do anything when i click on the application.

    thanks madog for answering those questions. but i have a lot more as i journey through the OS. Is there a paint software so I can post up some pictures to ask questions about the icons?

    The problem with jdownloader is:

    - not updated it since a long time
    - needs Java to be installed
    - looks ugly

    So better try to find something more up-to-date at cnet or MacUpdate

    I used (or tried to use) this. I moved to a new computer and can't activate the pro version. It also only allows one use on one computer, not a laptop and desktop, which is pretty tight compared to other applications. I wouldn't recommend it.
