Now that we are seeing phones in the wild, interesting to see what people like
 
I got space grey, but I REALLY like the way the silver looks. I just personally don’t like white bezels. If they had a silver with black bezels, I would have gotten that one.

Space gray here although I really like the look of the silver back. Not white, not quite silver. Like a tamed light gray. Black bezel fan though
 
I really don't like the pink, I mean, gold finish, the silver looks nice from the back and sides, but I don't like the white bezels, they look visually larger than the black bezels of the space grey finish. White does that to the eye though, it makes things look bigger than they are.

Space Gray looks pretty cool, they get one of the black boxes too. That said, I always feel like Silver/White is the "smarter" color, since finger prints aren't seen as easily and scratches/dents aren't as obvious either. This was more relevant with the 5/5S though. Personally I don't care for the gold this time around.
 
I actually dont like the silver and gold this time but loved the gold 6-7

I love my Matte Black 7+

If I had an 8 I would get space grey
 
I’ve always gone black/space gray.

The silver is such a nice color this year as it’s like a muted gray I had to get it.

Looks amazing.
 
I am torn between the gold and space gray in the 8. Is there any men who also like it or is it just me? LOL!

The silver looks almost white this time because of the glass.

I'd say it's a toss up between silver and gold.
 
I got the gold...always had a black iphone so I decided to switch it up. It depends on what light you look at it...plus we all see colors slightly different. Back is cream color. And edges are copper-rose color imo. I added a taupe leather case so wont bother me.

Thought about trading for silver though...wonder if Apple will trade it?

I feel the "gold fever" after you guys purchase the gold! I am now leaning toward that! Will make up mind after revisit the phones again this weekend!

Yes, it is! Looks much more expensive and eloquent then the space gray. I may do it! Gold fever....!

All 3 look nice. The glass makes a world of difference. I went looking for the space grey, but my eyes lit up over the silver. Elegant! I was also pleasantly pleased with the gold. Soft. Subtle. Nice. Wasn’t sure how I would feel about the blush/sand colored back over time, but still very pretty. Space grey suddenly fell to last place and then just off of my choice list.

Silver won for me because I truly just LOVE the white front and (near) white back with the touches of silver and then the glass... Perfection. I want to go naked with it and when I feel I can get away with it, I will.
 
The Best iPhone color is the one that someone likes the most. But for me, I like silver.
 
I had iphones with black bezels before, so when I got the 6 plus, I decided to mix it up a little and got silver. I’ve regretted it ever since, so I’d personally go Space Grey
 
I preferred silver and went with that. I usually like the gold but the glass on the 8 seemed to give it a pink hue which just is not for me.
 
I am a guy who got the Gold 8 Plus as well and I’m glad! I came from a Black 7 Plus.
The white front on the Gold 8 Plus nicely complements the True Tone screen!
 
Space Gray so I can lie to myself that the huge 2014 bezels are not there. Seriously huge compared to any other Android flagship. It's such a joke.
 
I'm not gonna lie: I like the new gold color option. Not sure if anyone here has seen iJustine's unboxing video of the gold iPhone 8 Plus, but she described it as the perfect marriage between gold and rose gold. I'd say that's a very good way to put it. I definitely like that color.

However, I chose space gray. Mostly because of the black front. Last time I've had an iPhone with a white front, it was not the best experience. I also chose space gray because I think the back looks beautiful thanks to the glass on it. The space gray option looks amazing!

But again, I like the gold color option too. If it wouldn't have been for the white front, I'd choose that one without hesitation.
