I have ScannerPro, JotNotFree and DocScanner....I think I like ScannerPro the best so far....are there any others I should check out?

Is there a Scanner app that will allow me to edit the words in my scan and save it as a Word document??

Has anyone had an opportunity to test these apps using the iPhone 4's new camera? I'd really like to try DocScanner, but the OCR feature through Google Docs is what makes me want it the most, and I've heard less-than-stellar reviews about that particular feature. I was hoping that the new camera on the iPhone 4 may improve its performance to where I could justify picking it up.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A306 Safari/6531.22.7)

I like JotNot but i wish it has one button scanning that would process and dump to dropbox.

I was using Genius Scan (free), but now I want either Jotnote or ScannerPro based on all your recommendations. Jotnote is $6 cheaper than SP, is SP really that much better??

has anybody tried the recent release of DocScanner? or the recent released version of ProScanner?

Best Scanner App

Ive been using free version of Genius Scan... thinking of upgrading or finding something better.

Anyone got any input?

Genius Scan / +
CamScanner / + / Pro
TurboScan

Etc...

Great thread. I see ScannerPro is more expensive at $6.99

I wonder which is better ScannerPro or JotNot?

TurboScan wins hands down for its precision and speed in finding document edges, even in low light. Very uncluttered interface. I‘ve tried and bought Scanner by Readdle, GeniusScan, CamScanner, Office Lens.

ScannerPro can extract and copy the text in a scan.

I use ScannerLens recently, simple and elegant. Good at privacy protection and Text Extraction(OCR).

Does not collect as much data as other scanning apps, and can set passwords to folders。
