Well, after experiencing snowballing like so many others have in Lion, I decided to changed my DNS to OpenDNS. And wow! the difference is day and night!

The way I did it is by changing the DNS on the desktop (which the router is connected to), then on the Netgear Router, and finally on my MBA. So now all three has the same DNS.

Now, I am just wondering whether I need to change the TCP/IP or any other setting in the network preference? I have IPv4 as "using DHCP" and IPv6 as "automatic". Not sure if this is optimal, can someone comment on it? Thanks.

Uhhh, sounds like everything is working just fine, and it fixed the problem you were trying to fix. Why would you want to go change more settings?
