IMO, a non-jailbroken 1.1.2 is most stable. I wasn't impressed with 1.1.3 in terms of battery life, locking up, dropped calls, etc.

I have two phones, one running 1.1.3 the other 1.1.2. I like them both!
The only problem I have run into with 1.1.3 is that my Garmin GPS no longer pairs up with it but it still does on my 1.1.2 phone.
I still get two full days between charged with about 6 hours usage on my 1.1.3.
