What's the deal with availability (42mm ss black)

I'm looking to upgrade to the 42mm Stainless black w/link bracelet and it's just been 'sold out' and isn't around any local stores either.

Has anyone noticed how often this comes in and out of stock? I thought there would have been an 'ships in 4-6 weeks' type of thing.
