What's the deal with MMS?

Anyone know why MMS message won't work? I have tried sending one to another iPhone 3.0 user, no dice, have tried having Verizon people send a MMS to me, not working either. Do MMS messages currently work in any sense for any of you guys?

i think its a beta app and wont work for now, lets wait for AT&T support or possibly another 3.0 build
