If they offered matte black ceramic instead of just shiny grey or white, I’d jump to buy one. I have the SBSS instead. DLC coating of the SBSS is reasonably scratch resistant but it is not scratch proof like ceramic. I can see some micro scratches and also some small dents resulted from hitting hard surfaces.

It is easy to match the polished SS and SBSS with a wide variety of different colored bands but I cannot say the same for the grey ceramic.

I agree, but the charcoal leather loop looks great on the grey ceramic.

I agree, the grey is less flashy and changes colour nicely in the light. Also, looks better with work attire and for those not wearing white trainers lol
For sure. With good lighting, the grey ceramic looks incredible.

I also think the same thing on the white ceramic. Maybe i'm wrong, but it looks very dressy. As beautiful as it is, I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable wearing a bright white watch casually.

I bought the ceramic Edition in grey. Initially I thought it was great. Then I realised that it’s a psychological trap and I sent it back.

I had the Series 2 Space Black and it didn’t scratch at all, either. So ceramic is not some miracle material.

I found the whole thing rather flat. There’s nothing premium about the experience.

Oh, and don’t forget, you get the Apple charging stand, too. Woot. I already had one.

This is why Apple offers different models, to suit as many tastes as possible :)

I have had the S2 and S3 ceramic. Adding to it I now have the SBSS, funded by the sale of the S2 ceramic.
I love them both.
The ceramic has been worn with all sorts of bands and for various occasions.

I disagree with @profmatt however based on his previous posts his opinions are well formulated and respected.

I haven’t used the puck

I recently added the Berry woven nylon to the collection. It looks great on the ceramic. Not as pink as one would assume.

The psychological aspect of the ceramic can be a reality. But to be honest, very few people pick up on the ceramic, even in the apple store.

I simply like the white watch.

I Personally would like to see a brushed stainless gray Apple Watch. Ceramic is nice, but I like the to weight more with the stainless model. And I think a brushed stainless would hide the micro scratches that are easily observed on the regular stainless Apple Watch.

I was talking to a woman the other night that said the Apple Watch was a fashion statement more than a smart watch.

And then I thought, how would a space gray, like the MBP, look with a black leather band.
