Is this confirmed? Apple doesn't list RAM on its site (nor was it revealed in the keynote) and neither has been released so I don't see how this could be confirmed.
Someone on these forums had an online chat with apple confirming both had 1GB, he took a screenshot of the conversation and posted it on here. Also it is on the GSM Arena website and they are usually accurate.

I don't consider either of those to be confirmation. My guess is that the Apple employee on the other end of the chat has no idea. Just like the employee who told a journalist that the iPad Air has 1080p video. That is incorrect and was out of the mouth of an employee chosen to work the announcement event. We shall see.
