whats the difference?

    Well, if you looked at the specs, it would tell you :D

    Kidding aside, the refurb you linked has a processor that doesn't exist in the current generation, half the ram, no ability to have 8GB of ram, no SD slot, no built in battery.

    I believe you have the old style removable battery which does not last nearly as long. You don't have the SD card slot. You also have a slower speed and only 2GB of ram.

    how big would the difference in graphics be between that and an entry level 13 inch macbook pro

    correct me if im wrong but the refurbished one has a 9600 GT graphics card and the new ones only have a 9400 GT graphics card so the older one would have better graphics card but all the flaws listed above

    not really flaws just "outdated" technology.... its still better than any windws laptop youll get though

    little bit lower specs- yes. Outdated...hardly

    I wonder if ignorance and lack of brain cells comes with time or some people are born that way...
