What's the easiest means to setup a Guest account?

I don't want to screw anything up but want to be able to setup a guest account on my macbook so someone else can use it without access to my photos, messages, etc. What's the easiest and safest method?

1. Open "System Preferences."
2. Select "Users and Groups."
3. Click on the 'i' next to "Guest User."
4. Enable the account and select any desired options.
