Hi everyone,

I know many people waiting for Halloween night and this year it's coming back soon. So, I'd like to know what's the first thing when you think halloween.

On my mind: The moon, bats, scary castle

what's your? Let me know guys

Cheap and ungrateful people sending their kids around for multiple passes to stock up on their supplies for the year.

... I mean pumpkins...

Brace yourselves for the Gangnam(PSY) costumes.

Why do people in the UK adopt this stupid US tradition. Knocking on strangers doors begging for sweets. What a stupid idea.

I dunno. I think it might have something to do with it being fun.

Oh, and speaking of fun, why do they call the little candy bars "fun" sizes? I don't think getting less than what you'd get from a full sized candy bar is all that entertaining, personally.

Interesting, I thought the tradition started over there, well in Ireland anyway. Mind you it changed a lot in the US (and Canada) and has become a big deal for begging I mean asking for tooth decay problems. Woops I meant sweets.

Seriously it was fun as a kid, and as a young adult to go to dress-up parties. I don't anymore though am amused as an ex-pat Canadian in Europe to see how the holiday in its American form has become more popular here. I leave my celebrations to Halloween avatars for now.

We don't have Halloween here, but if Hollywood is to be believed.
"I think of big girls and small costumes." :D

What's the first thing on my mind when I think of Halloween? Rain!
Thanksgiving? Rain!
Christmas? Rain!
New Years? Rain!

:D
There is the possibility of rain every year.

Awesome, but don't forget The Great Pumpkin.

OMG! I forgot and I don't have my pumpkin patch picked out yet. Is it too late?

"The only fun I'm going to have with this thing is smearing it all over your door when I leave."

It's not much fun when despite having no Halloween crap in the window people come and knock on your door as you are trying to put your young child who has Aspergers to bed and doesn't cope well with the noise (high anxiety etc)

I'm with you on the candy bars though. When else did fun mean half size?
